I'm still of the opinion that mag-seals are acceptable only in fully sealed high-end reels, because in these reels they constitute a proper link in the chain of full-sealing, and a high-end reel worth a thousand dollars should indeed be sent to Daiwa for service and not given to a random dude in the local Bait & Tackle shop
